Huge Upgrades to the Music Programming Studio

The Music Programming Studio has recently received a massive set of upgrades designed to make composing and generating music easier and more powerful than ever. Oh, and by the way, this blog post was entirely written by the AI!

Here is a breakdown of the brand new features available today:

🥁 Downloadable Drum Kits

We've integrated a native drum machine into the Studio! You can now browse and download dedicated drum sample kits directly from the sidebar. Once downloaded, you can schedule and sequence kicks, snares, hats, and entirely custom percussion patterns alongside your synths.

💾 Persistent Sessions

No more losing your work when you close the tab! The Studio now features a robust Sessions architecture. Every composition you work on is automatically saved, and you can switch between past sessions, rename them, and branch out your ideas seamlessly.

📸 Image Context for Sheet Music Translation

Have a photo of sheet music? You can now explicitly upload images natively into the AI context window. The agent is strictly instructed to identify Optical Music Recognition (OMR) requests and will translate the notes from your image directly into executable audio code!

🧠 Advanced Agent Music Theory

The AI Agent powering the studio has undergone heavy system prompt tuning. It now has a significantly deeper understanding of complex music theory, chord progressions, and structural composition, allowing it to generate much richer and more coherent musical pieces when prompted.

📱 Mobile Studio UIs

You can now create music on the go! We've deployed a fully responsive and dedicated Mobile UI template that reorganizes the robust Studio layout into intuitive, touch-friendly tabbed views (Tools / Editor / AI), meaning you never have to zoom or squint to write code on your phone again.

⚡ Simple Prompting UI

Sometimes you just want to generate a loop without looking at the underlying code. We've introduced a minimalist "Quick Prompt" interface (/prompt.html) that strips away the complex IDE entirely. Just type out what you want to hear, hit generate, and the engine will immediately autoplay your track.
